Julia Buker
Julia started dancing in Calgary, Alberta in February of 2016. What was once something fun to do in her spare time, has turned into an unquenchable passion for everything swing dance. Julia performed with the Calgary based vernacular jazz chorus girl group 'The Sugar Sweets', and she has been to many workshops and exchanges including Stompology, Rhythm Shuffle, PLEX, Round Midnight, Summer Solstice, Meet in the Middle, and AIW, and has taken lessons in Calgary, Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Rochester (NY), and Buffalo (NY).
Julia dances Lindy Hop, Charleston, Blues, and has a particular love of Balboa. She is currently living in London ON after finishing her masters in Vocal Performance. She teaches voice and piano lessons at a private studio, as well as swing dance through Swing London and at the UWO Swing Club.

Penelope Osterman
Penelope was first introduced to swing dancing at a summer house party and became hooked to the world of partner dance. She started Lindy Hop lessons in 2008 and branched out to learn Charleston, balboa, blues and west coast swing. She has DJ’d at dances and started teaching at Swing London shortly after moving to London from Toronto.
Penelope enjoys dancing as both a leader and a follower. Even better are dances in which the switch happens mid-way through the song. She has dabbled in ballroom dances, salsa, cha-cha, and has a belly dancer’s flair. Ultimately, Lindy Hop is where Penelope’s heart is, and she seeks to grow and nourish the community here in London.

Amber Booth
Amber started teaching in the fall of 2014 with the UWO Swing Kids. She had “Swing Fever” and traveled for swing dancing all over Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia. Amber specializes in leading with a focus on Lindy Hop and Charleston, however, she prefers following at social dances. Amber has competed in several dance competitions across Ontario and Quebec, including in the intermediate division of the Canadian Swing Championships. Amber started Swing London in December of 2016 after retiring as president of the LondON Lindyhoppers. Amber is excited to continue to work with new students and help Swing London grow.
